Tonight at 8, American Experience has an encore showing of The Kennedys.
NOVA (Tuesday at 8) travels to the polar regions to chronicle the melting glaciers. At 9 & 10, it ‘s parts 3 & 4 of Blood and Guts: The History of Surgery.
On Wednesday, it’s the second part of Dr. Henry Louis Gates’ new series Faces of America.
On Friday at 8, Justice for Sale airs on Bill Moyers Journal. This 1999 documentary, which originally aired on Frontline, features a segment on the battle between the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic and Governor Mike Foster over the location of the Shintech Plant near Convent.
On Sunday, it’s an encore showing of Jane Austen’s Persuasion on Masterpiece at 8 followed by Independent Lens at 9:30 with the story of the people who lost their pets during Katrina and their efforts to find them.
