Thanks to everyone who supported LPB by attending the David Garrett concert on Wednesday at the Baton Rouge River Center Theatre. David put on a great show with a mix of classical and rock favorites. On his way to Baton Rouge, he stopped off in Chicago to tape an interview with Oprah Winfrey that is supposed to air today. Check your local listings.

Tonight at 8, American Experience profiles Amelia Earhart.

What killed the wooly mammoths of North America? Find out on NOVA Tuesday at 7. At 8, travel with Frontline and go behind the Taliban lines in Afghanistan.

On Wednesday at 7, Louisiana Public Square looks at educational reform and the efforts to seek federal Race to the Top funding. That’s followed by the third episode of Faces of America with Henry Louis Gates.

On Sunday, Masterpiece has a new production of The 39 Steps, originally done by Alfred Hitchcock in 1935.

CELTIC WOMAN CONCERT SET FOR APRIL 24

LPB The lovely ladies of Celtic Woman are coming back to Baton Rouge for a concert at the Baton Rouge River Center Arena on Saturday, April 24 at 8PM. Vocalists: Alex, Chloe, Lisa and Lynn and violinist Mairead. The performance will include new music from their Songs From the Heart CD along with old favorites like "Danny Boy," "Orinoco Flow," "Scarborough Fair," "Over the Rainbow" and "You Raise Me Up." ELMO AND BIG BIRD INVADE BATON ROUGE

LPB LPB has tickets for the Sesame Street 1-2-3 show on Saturday, March 20 at 10AM at the Baton Rouge River Center Arena. For $30 you can get a ticket to the show and a meet and greet with some of the cast members at 9:30AM. If you just want a ticket to the show, it is $20. A purchase of $60 or more will get your family a year’s membership in the LPB Kids Club.
