A Young Heroes special and a new Poirot highlight the programming for this week.
Tonight at 7, Antiques Roadshow continues its visit to Salt Lake City where they find some historic Mormon items. The History Detectives (8PM) examine a vandalized sculpture of former president Andrew Jackson.
On Tuesday at 8, Ken Burns completes the story of Lewis and Clark.
On Wednesday at 7, it’s the Louisiana Young Heroes 2010 special featuring profiles of this year’s eight winners and interviews with former recipients to find out how the award has changed their life. LPB’s Dorothy Kendrick produced the program. Prepare to be inspired!
On Friday at 10, Tori Amos performs on Live from the Artists Den.
n Sunday at 8, it’s another new Poirot on Masterpiece Mystery!. This one is called The Third Girl.
FOLSE TAPINGS UNDERWAY
We kicked off the studio tapings for Chef John Folse’s new 26-part After the Hunt series last Wednesday. Through July 27, tapings are Monday through Thursday at 11AM and 2:30PM in the LPB studios and 11AM on Fridays. Not only do you get to see John and the crew in action, but you will also get a free meal!

COME JOIN LIDIA BASTIANICH AT THE RED STICK FARMERS MARKET IN BATON ROUGE ON AUGUST 7TH
Famed PBS Chef Lidia Bastianich will be in Baton Rouge on Saturday, August 7 to appear live on LPB from 2:30 to 4:30PM during Lidia’s The Best of Italy.
In conjunction with National Farmers Market Week, Lidia will also make a special appearance at the Red Stick Farmers Market in Baton Rouge from 9 to 11AM, which will include a book signing for her latest book Lidia Cooks from the Heart of Italy from 9 to 10AM. Chef Peter Sclafani from Ruffino’s Italian Restaurant in Baton Rouge will also prepare some of Lidia’s favorite recipes from 10 to 11AM. The Red Stick Farmers Market event is free and open to the public.
At 7PM, LPB and Lidia will hold a wine tasting from 7 to 9PM. Catering will be provided by White Oak Plantation. We will let you know the location as soon as we determine where it will be. RED, WHITE & BUBLÉ TRIVIA CONTEST GRAND PRIZE DRAWING
Congratulations to Bobby Devillier of Baton Rouge for winning the grand prize in our Red White and Bublé Trivia contest. He received two tickets to Michael’s July 14 concert at the New Orleans Arena and a copy of his Crazy Love CD. Thanks to everyone who has participated in the contest!
LOUISIANA PUBLIC SQUARE IN CENLA
Come join the studio audience for LPB’s taping of its July edition of Louisiana Public Square on Thursday, July 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center in Alexandria. The Center is located at 1203 3rd St. in downtown Alexandria.
Agriculture is the topic for the program is in Louisiana. Up to 16 citizens selected by the LSU Public Policy Research will have a chance to voice their opinion on the issue and question the panel of experts. LPB President/CEO Beth Courtney and LSU Media Law Professor Craig Freeman are the hosts for the program.

KIDS SOUP
Check out Kids Soup, our new website to encourage kids to eat healthier, better balanced meal by getting them involved in the preparation of the food.
The website is an offshoot of the Kids Soup column in The Baton Rouge Advocate written by sisters Stephanie Riegel and Tracey Koch since 2005. The new website features short video segments demonstrating how to make some of Kids Soups' most popular recipes. The site also includes recipes that users can download, and tips on everything from nutritional information to food preparation tips to handy short cuts. The videos are fast-paced and fun to watch, but are also comprehensive and easy to understand.
