Tonight at 7, Antiques Roadshow continues its visit to San Jose and the American Experience revisits the Hurricane of 1938.
Speaking of hurricanes, NOVA (Tuesday at 7PM) has an encore showing of Storm That Drowned a City, a minute-by-minute account of what happened during Hurricane Katrina. At 8, Katrina’s Smallest Victims tells how medical personnel from around the state worked together to recue the newborns and expectant mothers from flood-ravaged New Orleans after the storm.
On Wednesday at 7, Secrets of the Dead tells the story of the Battle of Stalingrad, the deadliest battle of World War II. That followed by two episodes of the new series Ground War.
On Friday at 7PM, Louisiana: The State We’re In will have the latest on the oil spill and the Legislature. Check out the new public affairs show Need to Know at 8:30.
On Sunday at 8, Masterpiece has another new episode of Foyle’s War.
ALMOST 200 PIECES OF ART UP FOR BIDS IN THE LPB ART & TRAVEL AUCTION

If you see something you like, put it in a bid -- if you really like and are willing to pay the posted price, you can buy it now. Online bidding will continue through June 13 when the live auction show airs from 6 to 9PM.

DR. AMEN TICKETS AVAILABLE
World renowned psychiatrist, brain imaging specialist and best-selling author Dr. Daniel Amen will be in Baton Rouge on Sunday, June 6 to talk about his latest book, Change Your Brain, Change Your Body: Use Your Brain to Get and Keep the Body You Have Always Wanted. During his seminars he explains how boosting your brainpower can improve your weight, skin, heart, energy, and focus. The seminar will be from 3 to 5PM at the BREC Independence Park Theatre, 7800 Independence Blvd in Baton Rouge.

TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR THE TOMMY EMMANUEL CONCERT IN BATON ROUGE
Friends of LPB has a limited number of tickets for guitar superstar Tommy Emmanuel’s concert at Istrouma Baptist Church in Baton Rouge on June 11. Just visit the LPB website to make your contribution and get tickets to see this guitar virtuoso and consummate showman.
If you are not familiar with Emmanuel, check out his Center Stage concert on LPB on Monday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 9 at 9:30 each night. In addition to tickets to his B.R. concert, we will also have two autographed guitars as thank-you gifts during the show.
Country music star Brad Paisley recently introduced him at the Grand Ole Opry as the “best living guitar player in the world.“ and guitar legends Chet Atkins, Les Paul and Jerry Reed have sung his praises. Named Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year two years in a row by Guitar Player Magazine, Emmanuel has also been nominated for two Grammys.
