PROGRAMMING NEWS:
Tonight at 7, Antiques Roadshow continues its visit to Biloxi. At 8, it’s the premiere of American Experience Freedom Riders, the story of the Civil Rights bus caravan that led to one busload of participants almost being burned to death and another almost beaten to death. It did get the nation’s and the world’s attention. At 10, it’s an encore showing of LPB’s award-winning documentary Signpost to Freedom: The 1953 Baton Rouge Bus Boycott.
On Tuesday at 8, Frontline looks at The Meth Epidemic.
On Wednesday, NOVA tries to solve the Riddles of the Sphinx.
On Thursday at 7, Chef John Folse is cooking venison. At 9, it’s the premiere of Garrow’s Law, the story of a young 18th century barrister in England. It also airs Saturdays at 10. For all you Doc Martin fans, the show will be back Thursday, June 16 at 8PM starting with the first episode.
On Friday, get a wrap up of the week’s events at the Legislature on Louisiana: The State We’re In at 7PM and Sunday at 2PM.
On Sunday at 8, Masterpiece has the Agatha Christie classic Murder on the Orient Express starring David Suchet as Hercule Poirot.

2011 LPB ART & TRAVEL AUCTION - CALL TO ARTISTS
Friends of LPB is seeking artists to be a part of The 2011 LPB Art & Travel Auction, which will be held Sunday, October 23rd. Art works donated for the auction will be on exhibit at the Louisiana State Museum in downtown Baton Rouge, September 30th through October 15th. The Preview Party and Opening Reception, LPB Art Rocks, will be held from 7 to 9PM on Friday, September 30th. Donor agreements and artwork must be received at LPB by Thursday, June 30th.
