Last week, we saw the first of the Presidential debates on LPB. Thursday at 8, it's time for the Vice Presidential candidates to square off. PBS NewsHour presents live coverage and analysis.

Friday night starts with the people, places and news from around the state with Louisiana: The State We're In at 7PM. At 9, see an encore broadcast of Call the Midwife.

Saturday night, LPB presents two full hours of the best in British comedies starting at 7, followed by Primeval and Doctor Who. At 11, Grammy-winning Bon Iver performs on Austin City Limits.

Sunday at 7 on Call the Midwife, find out why Jenny's new patient seems upset by her pregnancy. Then on Series II of Upstairs, Downstairs on Masterpiece, learn how a tragedy leaves the dreams of Lady Agnes and Sir Hallam - and a family member - in jeopardy.

LPB Elmo Makes Music is coming to the CajunDome in Lafayette! Jenny, an enthusiastic new music teacher, arrives on Sesame Street only to discover that her instruments are missing. Jenny’s new Muppet friends quickly come to the rescue and discover ‘instruments’ they never knew existed…rubber duckies, trash can lids and even cookie jars. Elmo and friends teach children that everyone can make and enjoy beautiful music together.

A $35 contribution to LPB gets you one gold circle seat ticket and a VIP meet & greet pass. A $25 contribution includes one gold circle seat ticket. LPB LPB is giving you an opportunity to see the new Thomas & Friends special, Thomas & Friends Blue Mountain Mystery, before it airs on LPB! We will have two free screenings on Sunday, November 4th at 1 and 2:30PM in the Louisiana Art & Science Museum auditorium.

The Thomas screenings are in conjunction with the train memorabilia exhibition at the LASM. See photographs, blueprints, even model trains, selected from the permanent collection. Since the 1970s, LASM has been housed inside the renovated historic passenger terminal which opened in 1925 as the Yazoo & Mississippi Valley Railroad depot, later known as the Illinois Central Gulf Passenger Station.

Every first Sunday of the month, visitors enjoy free admission to the LASM galleries and reduced admission to planetarium shows.
