The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra features a 17-piece big band comprised of vocals, trombones, trumpets, saxophones, drums, guitar and contrabass. The bombastic sound of the group begs to be danced to, and audience members are sure to be delighted by American songbook standards reinvented.

Originally hailing from northern Louisiana, the band is now based in Savannah, GA.

Zachary Richard’s immersive multi – media performance, ‘Attakapas – The Cajun Story’ will be presented on Friday, February 3 at The Manship Theater at 7:30 PM.

‘Attakapas’ utilizes visual projection and live music to bring the story of the Cajun people of Louisiana to life. ‘Attakapas – The Cajun Story’ is funny, tragic, lighthearted, and moving. This one of a kind, state of the art multimedia experience celebrates the rich story and traditions of the Cajun people and is a powerful means of recognizing the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the first Acadian exiles in Louisiana.
