Vidalia onions are equally good; but don’t use yellow or white.

4 ripe avocados
¼ cup chopped red onion
1 clove minced garlic
¼ cup fresh lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Peel and slice avocados and cut into large chunks.
2. In a medium bowl, mash the avocado to desired consistency using a fork.
3. Add chopped onion, garlic and lime juice, and stir until well blended.
4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
