Funding For Public Broadcasting Is In Jeopardy »»»
Federal funding for public broadcasting is essential to keep programs that you value on the air. From Sesame Street to Masterpiece, public broadcasting is unique.
Louisiana Public Broadcasting receives $1.9 million in Federal funds to support our educational and cultural mission. Instructional programming for children; programs about our history; and the finest in music, theater and art all are made possible with this federal support.
If you value the difference that public broadcasting makes in the lives of millions of Americans, let your elected Representatives know.
If you think that Louisiana Public Broadcasting is worth having, contact your Member of Congress – their numbers are listed here.
You can also show your support by visiting a special website, www.170millionAmericans.org to receive updates.
