Preston Doré has been a shrimper for over 30 years, in the South Central Louisiana town of Delcambre.
Hurricane Rita destroyed his home, seafood restaurant, bar and distribution business.
He shares the hardships of local fishermen who lost boats, offloading docks and distribution outlets for their catches, which are sold across the country.
This independent, self-made man now faces the third and potentially final strike against him. After losing his home and business in Rita, battling his insurance company, then being flooded again in Hurricane Ike three years later, his shrimp boat is all he has left.
Now the oil spill threatens to take away his lifeline.
