World-renowned Cajun and Creole chef John Folse from Louisiana will begin the show by preparing some mouth-watering seafood appetizers. Next up will be Chef Don Bingham of Arkansas, the author of two cookbooks and the Administrator of the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. Don will prepare a wide range of delicious breads while Alabama restaurateur and television personality Leslie Bailey will be cooking the vegetables. Jackson, Mississippi restaurant owner and chef Grant Nooe will prepare an exciting catfish entree while Georgia's nationally-syndicated television chef Nathalie Dupree will top the meal off with a great peach dessert.
A companion cookbook called Five Star Tastes of the South will feature recipes from viewers in all five states and will be available during the show.
