In his address, Governor Jindal is expected to discuss his proposal to drop the state’s income and corporate taxes and increase the sales tax.
April 8th also marks the beginning of live coverage of the Legislature on LaTV. In this partnership, LPB, the Legislature and the Louisiana Cable Telecommunications Association (LCTA) join forces to provide live coverage of the Legislature weekdays from 2 to 6PM. Check the cable provider in your area to see if they are carrying LaTV. The Louisiana House and Senate shoot the proceedings, LPB uplinks the coverage around the state and the LCTA signs up its members to carry the coverage.
