On Jan. 5, 1973, 132 men and women gathered in Baton Rouge to begin the work of rewriting Louisiana's antiquated 1921 constitution. They would complete their work a year later on Jan. 16, 1974. They presented the voters with the constitution we now have today. Forty years later, CC ’73: Revisiting the 1973 Louisiana Constitutional Convention
features a conversation with several of the leaders and delegates of that constitutional convention. It premieres Saturday, December 14 at 7PM on LPB 2 with an encore showing on Sunday, December 14 at 4PM on that channel. The program can also be viewed at:http://video.lpb.org/
