LPB WINS TELLY AWARD FOR LOUISIANA PUBLIC SQUARE »»»

  • Louisiana Public Square
Louisiana Public Broadcasting has been honored with a Bronze Telly Award for the Louisiana Public Square program called Gay in Louisiana.

The program, which premiered in August of 2013, looked at the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act and what effect it would have, if any, in the state of Louisiana.

The program was produced by Kevin Gautreaux and co-hosted by LSU Media Law professor Craig Freeman and LPB President/CEO Beth Courtney. Louisiana Public Square airs statewide each month on LPB and WLAE-TV in New Orleans and KRVS-FM and WRKF-FM.
