LPB’S CAPITOL BEAT PREMIERES MONDAY, APRIL 8TH ON LPB & PUBLIC RADIO STATIONS AROUND THE STATE »»»

Capitol Beat, Louisiana Public Broadcasting’s daily legislative roundup, will premiere Monday, April 8th. The two-minute reports will air weekdays at 6:57 and 9:57PM and mornings at 5:57AM on LPB HD through the end of the Legislative Session on June 4. It also airs on LPB2 at 8:58 and 10:56 p.m. and it airs on LPB3 at 7:57 and 11:57PM. The reports can also be streamed online after 5:00 p.m. each weekday by visiting www.lpb.org/capitolbeat.

Capitol Beat can also be heard on KRVS-FM in Lafayette, Red River Radio in Shreveport and Alexandria, KEDM in Monroe, and WWNO-FM in New Orleans. Check the station’s websites for the times in your area.

LPB’s Charlie Whinham and Shauna Sanford will bring you the most important issues of the day at the State Capitol in these reports. For extended coverage and interviews during the session, watch Louisiana: The State We’re In on Fridays at 7PM. and Sundays at 2PM.
