THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE DRAWS A HUGE CROWD AT LPB »»»

  • Smiles for everyone!
Almost 700 people from all around the state visited the LPB Telecommunications Center on Monday, November 25th to meet PBS Kids star Thomas the Tank Engine and get a sneak preview of his movie King of the Railway. Many of the children were wearing Thomas T-shirts and engineer outfits as they greeted their favorite TV character in the LPB Studios. Most walked away with a big smile on their face.

The price of admission was the donation of a pair of gloves, a winter hat or socks for the children in the Baton Rouge Big Buddy Program. More than 10 boxes of winter items were collected and distributed to the children in the program just in time for the first cold snap of the year.
