Alzheimer’s Disease is on the rise in Louisiana, affecting more people at a younger age than anywhere else in the country. Thousands of people are participating in two research projects at Pennington Biomedical Research Center that are looking at how lifestyle contributes to the early and aggressive onset of this disease. This two part series will begin with a look at some of the “Faces of Alzheimer’s” and what help is available for them and their families.
