The damage of Isaac hit other areas of the state hard -- including areas around Lake Borgne and Lake Ponchatrain. Search and rescue efforts were conducted in a Slidell neighborhood of roughly 300 families. Folks in Madisonville, another lakeshore community, were forced out of their homes as well.
