Balancing the State Budget (03:31) State lawmakers have a difficult task ahead of them as they delve into the multi-billion dollar spending plan proposed by the governor. The process is complicated and legislators learned this week that an $87 million dollar shortfall has been projected before the fiscal year ends on June 30th.
