May 2, 2014 - This Week at the Capitol, The Leader of the Band, Prescription for Health

This Week at the Capitol (1:24) Medical marijuana has been legal in Louisiana since 1978, but even if you have a prescription for it you can’t get it filled. Why not? The state has never set up the process to dispense or purchase it. A bill by one senator seeks to change that but it was met with strong opposition this week at the capitol. Also, lawmakers take moves to stop parents from fighting with the referees at their children’s ball games when they disagree with a call. Shauna Sanford will have highlights from the session. SHARE
