This Week at the Capitol (1:24) Medical marijuana has been legal in Louisiana since 1978, but even if you have a prescription for it you can’t get it filled. Why not? The state has never set up the process to dispense or purchase it. A bill by one senator seeks to change that but it was met with strong opposition this week at the capitol.
