This week on LPB, FRONTLINE aired a special presentation, ENDGAME: AIDS in Black America. Every ten minutes, someone in the U.S. contracts HIV. Shauna Sanford reports on the growing epidemic in Louisiana. Baton Rouge has the highest rate of AIDS cases in the nation and New Orleans ranks fifth.
A panel discussion follows with Dr. Rani Whitfield and a spokesperson with AIDSLAW Louisiana to discuss the many health and legal challenges Louisiana HIV-positive residents face.
