Louisiana native Knot Farrington has always loved fast cars. Fifty years ago his modified Ford Thunderbird set a speed record of 241.78 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. His record breaking sports car is currently displayed at the newly opened Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches. Charlie Whinham caught up to the 93-year-old racing legend.
