Teacher Tenure Case
LSWI3626 - March 8, 2013
/
A district court judge has ruled Governor Bobby Jindal’s teacher tenure law unconstitutional. It’s the second part of his signature education reform measure to be struck down by the court. But the governor’s office says they will appeal. Steve Monaghan with the Louisiana Federation of Teachers and Chas Roemer, president of the state board of education (BESE), will be in studio to discuss what the ruling means and the state’s next move.
